Background checks must provide records from numerous sources including the following: 1. Criminal Courts 2. State criminal record repositories 3. Probation, Prison Parole and Release Files 4. Multi-State Sex and Violent Offenders Report which covers all 50 State and the District of Columbia and Guam 5. Other Government Agencies 6. Previous residence addresses 7. Social Security Number is valid and in range and verifying the State and year issuance 8. Deceased Files 9. Driver License is valid 10. A wanted person security screen that cross-references the applicant with multiple US/Foreign sanctions and watch list to include the National Wants and Warrants
