Successful Bidder shall dive and locate a 4-inch and 10-inch pipe located in the wall of the tailrace/discharge of the hydroelectric facility. Once the pipes are located, the bidder shall inspect the pipes the integrity of the pipes. If the pipes are deemed to be integrity sound, the bidder shall install inflatable plugs to prevent water from passing through. The purpose of the plugs is for the replacement of valves, quantity of 1 on the 4-inch pipe and quantity of 1 on the 10-inch pipe. These valves will be replaced by Thompson, a contractor for OMPA. The successful bidder will dive again to remove the inflatable plugs once the pipes are watered and equalized. The dive must be done in accordance with OSHA standards and divers must be certified through the Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI) or an equivalent accreditation.
