2. SCOPE OF WORK
The contractor must furnish all labor, facilities, equipment, and materials to procure and upgrade the Kooltronics Blowers for the FAA as outlined in each section that follows. The specific quantities of units include the following:
1. One Hundred (100) H03 Exhaust Blowers - K3BB58-3
2. One Hundred (100) H01 Centrifugal Blowers - K3BB58-2
3. Ship Blowers to Electro Mechanex LLC to perform the following updates:
a. Dismantle, Clean Parts & Inspect all components.
b. Check Windings for condition and integrity (Resistance, Hi-Pot, Surge Comparison Inductance testing & Ground Capacitance).
c. Measure all Mechanical fits and record the dimensions.
d. Dynamically Balance Rotor/Blower to a balance quality grade G2.5 (ISO 1940-1), for reduced vibration during operation.
e. Bore & Sleeve DE/NDE Endbell to Mfg specifications.
f. Fit Bearings in accordance with ABMA fitting procedures.
g. Clean and Bake Windings with fresh BMG Polyurea EM lubricant.
h. Assemble Motor and Test run at full rated voltage at 60HZ for full output speed.
i. Record and Document All Electrical and Mechanical test measurements.
j. Spray Paint the Motor Machinery Gray.
k. Re-machine motor end bearing cups; adding steel sleeves and precisely locating center to reduce electromagnetic force (EMF) imbalance.
l. Bearing Upgrade: Premium NTN Sealed Ball Bearing C3
m. Install high temperature, bearing thrust washers.
n. Bearing lubricant (BMG Gen 2 Polyurea Motor Grease) rated for temperatures above 200°F
o. Blowers dynamically balanced to a G2.5 grade.
p. Add grommets to the mounting holes on the flange.
3. REQUIREMENTS

Delivery of production units shall begin NLT 300 days after receipt of order.

4.1 Preservation, Packaging, and Packing
Preservation, packaging, and packing shall be IAW Provision 61.
