Specifications include, but are not limited to: All materials and labor for the complete supply and installation of sod for a newly constructed subdivision for six homes located in Stilwell, Oklahoma. 1. The General Contractor will have all yards graded however, recent rains and some growth to existing vegetation will require the awarded Sod Installer to do a touch up on finish grade before installing sod. 2. Awarded Sod Installer will be responsible for re-finishing the yard grading to be ready for sod installation. The HACN recommends a Harley Rake or equivalent attachment to achieve desired smooth grade before sod installation. 3. The requirements for sod will be as follows: Bermuda/Mix A 30’ perimeter around all homes, any footage gained where parking pads and sidewalks occur will be added to sites around the homes in areas to be determined by the HACN inspector Troy Homes 918-316-3420) or Construction Manager Randy Bogart 918-316-9139. Estimated Square footage for entire sod installation for all six homes is 58,500’ total. All green areas between the road and the Wrought Iron fence will be sodded and green areas between the road and sidewalks will be sodded as well. 4. Before the sod is installed the entire area must be free of any sticks, large clumps of soil and large rocks. Any large rocks or sticks that are encountered must be removed completely off site before installation of sod.
