Specifications include, but are not limited to: Cherokee Nation Businesses (CNB) is accepting sketches for original wall art to be considered for permanent public display at the Oklahoma state University Osteopathic Medical School. The request is to design and construct a monetary donor recognition wall art piece, utilizing all or partial pieces of a 100 years-old Black Walnut logs from a felled tree near the Original Cherokee Nation Seminary in Tahlequah, OK. Other mediums can be combined with this wood. The art created shall mainly depict Cherokee history, Culture and Heritage. The 100 years-old wood has been tested by a professional wood service to gauge if there is enough good wood to create artwork. A copy of the report is available for viewing during the pre-bid meeting. Cherokee Nation will arrange for the wood to be delivered to the awarded bidder.
