Replace each pole as indicated below. Apply labels or permanent stenciling to new poles to clearly show the pole ID. Contractor is responsible for transporting poles from the staging area (identified below) to the work site. Contractor is responsible for all underground utility locate requests and permits (including County and ODOT permits for working in a road right-of-way.) OMPA will supply steel poles, polymer insulators, static brackets, shoes, ground rods, and hardware bolts. Contractor shall provide any other material or hardware necessary to complete the pole replacement. Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of the existing wood poles and hardware. Please provide a project schedule. Contractor shall coordinate with OMPA to request hot line holds and clearance tags as far in advance as possible. OMPA will work with transmission utilities to obtain hot line orders.
