a) Symptoms include: a. LTC intermittently will not raise/lower taps when called for in Auto Mode or Manual Mode. i. OMPA replaced contactors and timers on the OLTC control circuit in December 2025. b. Crank/handle operation has some binding and feeling like there is “sand” in the bearings. i. OMPA has disassembled and checked bearings in the LTC wiring cabinet and all were fine. We suspect the issue may be related to the shaft, chain or other components in the oil compartment. c. SEL 2414 reports high motor current alarm. i. LTC motor capacitor(s) were replaced with new on 08/16/25. b) Contractor will perform a visual inspection inside the LTC oil compartment. a. Contractor shall provide all tools, materials, and totes to store LTC oil during inspection. c) Contractor will diagnose and repair the LTC. Any tools, equipment or parts that are necessary to repair the LTC shall be provided by the Contractor. a.
