Water Tank One 1200-gallon black poly tank attached to bed at front and back of tank with 3/4" bottom, 3/4" walls and ½" baffles, this tank to meet all NFPA tank standards and will include pump recirculation port, 3" hydrant fill on rear of tank, 8"x8"x 5" tall fill tower mounted on left front on top of tank, a 3" suction port on back of tank, 3" overflow will dump out bottom of tank. Sight glasses to be installed on front driver's side of tank and on right rear of tank. Placement of tank to be mounted with 60% of the weight in front of centerline of truck axle. Tank to have a 4" lip. Custom Built Bed This bed to be custom built with a welded 6" channel sub frame attached to truck frame with ½" x 4" steel plates at front and back of bed. Bed is to be constructed of a 2"x 2" 11-gauge square tubing frame, with a 12-gauge smooth steel top, rear, and 6" side plate. Bed to have built in steps on both sides of bed - to access walkway behind cab. Side and steps to match on passenger side. These are steps not ladders. Walkway will be open-skeleton design with Maltese and "department decided cutout" cut into protective siding on outside of steps. • A non-slip floor covering will be installed on walkway surface to aid against slipping. Walkway to include pump controls and valves for whip lines. Walkway floor to be at the same height as bed floor. Walkway to include D ring in middle of headache rack for fire fighter tie off and two inward swinging gates built with 1 ½ square tubing with a pin and chain latching system for fire fighter safety. Bed to have 6' frame box with tailboard access. Headache rack to be built with 2"x 2" square tubing to fit contour of cab and bed. Bed to have poly tool boxes installed on each side of bed, next to tank Pump to be plumbed to tank, front nozzle, and manifold. Mount pump on rear of bed. Bed to have mud flaps installed on brackets behind rear tires and smaller mud flaps to be installed in front of first set of tires under bed. Limb sweeps to go all the way to the rear of bed. Pump One HPX200-KBD24 (or equivalent) fire pump, with exhaust primer, installed with stainless steel manifold mounted on rear of bed. • Start package to include start, stop, choke, and throttle mounted on console, in walkway and by pump. • All valves on Manifold to be brass full port 4 turn valves. • Pump Engine fuel will be tied into truck fuel tank. Reel and Hose Toolbox • Install one new Hannay 12v electric rewind EF24-23-24-10.5-reel (or equivalent) on bed behind tank facing rear of truck. Reel to be equipped with 100' of 1" hose Install two whip line at crosswalk. 2 Whip lines will be 6' of 1" Redline hose. Whip lines and 1" hose reel to have smooth bore nozzles. Install one custom built poly toolbox on each side of tank. Toolboxes to have steel barn style doors. Toolboxes to be 24" tall. Toolboxes will have a 4" lip. One toolbox will have a spot for fuel can holders.
