5.1.1 The University seeks to retain the services of a Supplier to comply with all Higher Education, State, and federal requirements and support the University’s mission of supplying high quality education to its students and contributing to the advancement of the entire state of Oklahoma. 5.1.2 Deliver fast effective service to University Departments. 5.1.3 Contain the overall costs of a responsive program. 5.2 The proposed solution shall be: 5.2.1 Flexible to accommodate changing requirements and conditions as needed during the life of the contract; 5.2.2 Flexible to comply with, and advance, Higher Education, State and Federal policy changes; 5.2.3 Expandable and reducible, as needed, to meet Contract goals and objectives; and, 5.2.4 Collaborative with University staff and other University Suppliers to advance Contract goals and objectives. 5.3 Supplier shall: 5.3.1 Coordinate with the University to identify improvements available within the market. 5.3.2 Keep the University informed of significant changes and/or trends in the marketplace throughout the year and provide the University with an annual forecast of market conditions. 5.3.3 Pre-Installation 5.3.3.1 PhaseSite Assessment & Preparation: 5.3.3.1.1 Conduct a site visit to evaluate existing mechanical, electrical, and structural conditions. 5.3.3.1.2 Identify and mark locations for indoor and outdoor units, refrigerant lines, and electrical connections. 5.3.3.1.3 Verify power availability and capacity. 5.3.3.1.4 Obtain necessary permits and coordinate with local authorities if required. 5.3.4 Material Procurement & Staging. 5.3.4.1 Supply all VRF components, including: 5.3.4.1.1 Outdoor Units (condensers) 5.3.4.1.2 Indoor Units (ceiling cassette, wall mounted, or ducted units) 5.3.4.1.3 Refrigerant lines, valves, and fittings. 5.3.4.1.4 Insulation, drain piping, and line sets. 5.3.4.1.5 Controls & wiring (communication & power) 5.3.4.1.6 Store equipment in a secure and weather-protected area.
