: The contractor shall be responsible for the following minimum general requirements: 1. 2-Hour On-Site Emergency Response Time. 2. 1-On call technicians available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. 3. Contractor has been in business a minimum of 20 years. 4. At least 50% of technician team must be EGSA certified. 5. Service trucks must stock at least 75 common spare parts for multiple generator manufacturers. 6. Ability to provide a minimum of 75 gallons of diesel from service truck while on site. 7. Rental fleet to provide temporary utility solutions. 8. Maintenance Requirements for Monthly Service 9. Check all spark plugs, ignition condenser, cap rotor, wires, and points. 10.Check and adjust belts. 11.Check batteries, cables, and charging system. 12.Check the fuel system (lines, pumps, and fuel tanks). 13.Check the fuel tank for water contamination. 14.Check engine, radiator, hoses, and heat exchanger. 15.Check the coolant block heater. 16.Check glow plugs where applicable. Check for proper operation. 17.Check the condition of batteries (load test) electrolyte level and charge rate. 18.Check and grease the generator and engine fan hub bearings. 19.Check all safety and alarm signals. 20. Start, run, and test the unit (check temperatures and pressures). 21. Test engine safety shutdown systems. 22. Test transfer switch operation and time delays. 23.Check the unit for proper frequency/speed, voltage, and amperage. 24. Submit an electronic report of recommendations, findings or repairs needed. 25.Annual Engine Service: Performed Once a Year Includes all Above Listed Inspections Plus: 26.Change oil and remove used oil from properties.
