The Cherokee Nation Child Development Center with Head Start will provide up to 150 children a safe place to learn and grow. The center will be built east of ‘The District’, MidAmerica’s 162-acre development that incorporates retail, multi-family housing, residential homes, and parks and trails. The center is seeking original artwork, to be displayed on the walls of the new facility. Artwork may be related to, but is not limited to, the following: Culture & History Education Animals (within the Cherokee reservation) “Child Friendly” Art Large scale flat art Landscape art (sculptures, stonework, woodwork, etc.) Bids should include proposed artwork, medium (ex. acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil, reed, clay, etc.), dimensions and price.
