The engine shall be a turbocharged diesel engine rated at a minimum of 150 horsepower, compliant with EPA Tier IV Final emissions standards. The unit shall feature a hydrostatic transmission with multiple speed ranges to accommodate mowing, transport, and maneuvering operations. A full-time 4-wheel drive system is required for traction and stability on varying terrain. The equipment shall support multiple steering modes, including at minimum front-wheel steering and an allwheel or crab-steering mode. The boom shall have a minimum horizontal reach of 26 feet from the centerline of the machine. A rotary mower deck with a minimum cutting width of 60 inches shall be included. The mower must be articulation-capable, allowing for vertical and horizontal angle adjustments (approximately ±45 degrees). Hydraulic quick disconnects must allow for easy attachment/detachment of boom implements.
