Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Proposal (RFP) solicits vendors to provide armed security services for the DDD located at 9801 N. Kelley Ave., Oklahoma City, Okla. 73131. The contractor must be able to provide four (4) armed uniformed CLEET certified guards. Guard coverage is 6:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturdays (state holidays excluded). There are multiple shifts with number of guards on duty, depending on the time of day, from one (1) to three (3). Currently, each guard works a 40 hour work week Monday through Friday. Saturday overtime hours are rotated among the guard staff. The number of guards and shift coverage times are subject to change depending on the availability of state and federal funding. Guard duties include, but not limited to: - Perform facility opening and closing functions. - Monitor security cameras and client interview rooms. - Greet visitors and maintain visitor log books and issue ID badges. Be prepared to control abusive or violent visitors. - Make public address system announcements within building. - Assist with emergency evacuation and sheltering drills and events.
