• Implement a suite of AMI applications that enhances MSUA’s capability in providing proactive customer communications • Improve billing accuracy • Enable flexibility for customers to set and/or change billing dates • Enable prepay option for the utility and customers in the future • Implement a customer portal • Enable customers to create service requests from the portal • Enable water continuous consumption/potential leak notifications for customers • Enable high usage notifications for customers • Replace aging infrastructure (replacement of all electric and water meters) • Improve service issues (e.g. electric outage, water leaks, high usage, etc.) detection & resolution • Enable real-time voltage monitoring
