Description

The Lawton Water Authority (the “Authority”), a public trust, on behalf of itself and its sole trust beneficiary, the City of Lawton, an Oklahoma municipal corporation, will receive sealed bids for agricultural leases of real property held in trust, administered and managed by the Authority on behalf of the City of Lawton. The agricultural leases offered include agreements either (i) for planting and harvesting cereal grain and forage crops purposes (“planting”), (ii) for cutting and baling purposes (“baling”), (iii) for pasture and grazing livestock purposes (“grazing”), or for some combination thereof. The contractual requirements of each of the three types of agricultural leases may vary. Terms and conditions of the lease are stated in a written lease agreement and further subject to applicable rules and regulations of City and statutes of the State of Oklahoma now in force, or hereafter adopted. All leases will have a five (5) year term and will provide for an annual cash rental. The Lessee shall not spray, apply, or treat the leased areas with any chemicals without obtaining prior written approval of the specific chemical.
