Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task: Verify the successful completion of projects and programs funded by BroadbandOhio In coordination with Development and BroadbandOhio leadership, the proposer will perform the following duties: 1. Develop, plan, and implement a project schedule that will run from June 1, 2024, to be completed by December 31, 2030, contingent upon approval by the appropriate state procurement authority. Specifically, the proposer will create a plan that will place all close out request for grantees into three separate categories: low risk, medium risk, and high risk. 2. For each category, the proposer will offer what verification methods are suitable to bring to finalize the close out request, with increasing levels of verification as the risk increases. 3. As part of the verification procedures, where appropriate the proposer will: Conduct on-site inspections of broadband internet infrastructure projects funded by BroadbandOhio grants across various locations in the State of Ohio. Verify the completion and quality of infrastructure installations, including fiber optic cable, fixed wireless, network equipment and other components necessary for broadband connectivity. Assess compliance with technical specifications as stated in the various grant agreements as well as industry standards and regulations. 4. The proposer will document findings, observations, and discrepancies identified during the verification process and explain why the grantee was placed in specific category for verification. 5. The proposer will provide recommendations for corrective actions or improvements to address deficiencies or discrepancies found during the verification process. 6. The proposer will reverify to see if the recommendations were followed. 7. The proposer will collaborate with project stakeholders, including grant recipients and BroadbandOhio to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the verification process.
