Specifications include, but are not limited to:Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) seeks a Contractor to provide the following installation services for COTA’s smart switch implementation. The Contractor will provide project management and labor for the installation of COTA designated smart switches, switch power and various hardware. All installations will be performed with COTA approving personnel present per below documented instructions. The installation will occur on a fleet not to exceed 330 coaches. Installation must be completed within thirty (30) calendar days (excluding nationally recognized holidays) from the agreed upon start date (pending equipment delivery). The Contractor will arrive at designated, agreed upon location, contact COTA personnel for install. COTA approving personnel will grant the Contractor access to fleet buses. Once access is granted, the Contractor will work in conjunction and as directed by COTA to remove existing hardware, lower 2nd shelf, and relocate hardware to COTA designated locations. The Contractor will mount removed/relocated hardware as requested by COTA in new locations to make real estate for new switch implementation. The Contractor will integrate timer/relay tapping into existing transit bus power. The Contractor will mount Cisco IE4010 switch to COTA sourced mounting tray using Contractor custom built brackets. The Contractor will install COTA sourced mounting tray, at mutually agreed upon location; new mounting tray will be installed in between the 1st and 2nd shelf where able. The Contractor will terminate power from relay/timer to Cisco IE4010 and ensure proper power up sequence. The Contractor will secure mounting tray within cabinet. The Contractor will gain sign off regarding re-located hardware, switch placement, switch power/functionality. The Contractor will ensure ALL trays can be fully opened with new/existing (rework) wiring that has been completed. The Contractor must provide a new hardwired 24V timer to each vehicle in the fleet this time should be set to remain powered on for a duration not to exceed 30 minutes from ignition off. The Contractor is responsible to provide all miscellaneous hardware required for installation including electrical. The Contractor will immediately bring to the attention of COTA IT and ITS Repair any issues on the fleet or individual coach. The Contractor will provide daily logs of fleet completion to ensure proper availability of resources for upcoming installs.
