Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.3.1Traffic Engineering – traffic studies, interchange studies, pedestrian safety studies, parking studies, traffic pattern analysis, capacity analysis, signing and striping, and signal warrants2.3.2Roadway Engineering – alternatives analysis, preparing BMP calculations, performing turn templates, preparing utility cost estimates2.3.4Other Services – preparing exhibits, performing site visits, preparing cost estimates for design (including environmental services) and construction costs, and other engineering related services as required 2.3.5Data Collection - The selected Consultant or Team should have traffic observation capabilities via drone. This will allow for observations of traffic in areas that are difficult to observe due to safety reasons or due to the number of cameras needed. An example of such a location is a highway interchange area with multiple ramps and merge/diverge/weave areas where drone video allows traffic to be observed from multiple access points at the same time. The provider of this service should follow all federal, state, and local laws and regulations covering flight of drones in Columbus, Ohio and the surrounding urban area.
