Approx. 800 ea. 5/8” x 3/4” Cold Water Positive Displacement Bronze/Brass Pit Meter, 7-1/2” lay length, with 25’ lead wire (potted) The City of Middletown is actively seeking proposals for pricing for 5/8” x 3/4” cold water, positive displacement, oscillating piston or nutating disc type pit meters (7-1/2” lay length) that are currently compatible and tested with Aclara Technologies Star AMI system. It is the intent of these specifications to describe a contractor for the Division of Water Maintenance in sufficient detail to obtain bids from several companies. While the purpose of this specification is to indicate certain minimum requirements, it is not the intent to exclude any bids, but is written to ensure the City of Middletown a water meter most suitable for its requirements.
