Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Demolition: a) Remove 2” of the top cap of existing asphalt parking lots, (Approximately 4,017 Sq. Yds), See the owner’s representative for the specific locations. (Parking lots supporting buildings 920 & 943 b) Remove any existing concrete parking blocks and save for re-use. B. Installation: 1. Building 920 & 943 – In areas where demolition of asphalt transpired. Install (Approximately 4,017 Sq. Yds), 2” top coat of asphalt. (See owner’s representative for specific locations). a) Apply the proper tack coat. b) Use #448 type 1 asphalt materials (PG64-22). c) Roll to a smooth finish. d) New asphalt needs to follow existing grade and drain properly to all existing drains. 2. Striping of new parking lots. a) Striping shall be one consistent color, semi-permanent, reflective traffic paint with reflective glass beads to enhance visibility. b) Parking spaces will be striped, white, except at the end of each row of parking or at handicapped accessible aisles. These lines will be painted yellow. All cross walks, no parking areas and access walks will be striped in yellow
