Specifications include, but are not limited to: One vendor to assist OhioMHAS with implementation of the State Opiate Response (SOR) activities. Awardee will develop training curriculum focused on preventing relapse for individuals with Opiate Use Disorder and Co-occurring mental health disorders. Topics to include differentiating opiate use/withdrawal symptoms and mental health symptoms, the best practice for integrating MAT and psychotropics in recovery housing and ethics when addressing relapse. There will be four (4) live trainings in different regions across Ohio. Each training will accommodate about 35 attendees, recovery housing operators and peer supporters, for a total of at least 140 individuals trained. All trainings will be an eight-hour day. Awardee will be responsible for registration, certificate of attendance, handouts, securing locations, arranging food and designing a flier that both the trainer and Ohio MHAS will utilize for advertisement purposes. The awardee will develop a survey to be administered at the beginning and end of the training day on implicit bias. Awardee will need to track completion rates for all surveys and will collect additional data including program metrics and attendee demographics. Awardee is expected to participate in a performance assessment with Ohio MHAS.
