Specifications include, but are not limited to: SWACO seeks to enter into a contract with an experienced construction management firm to perform duties as an Owner Representative for the duration of SWACO’s Morse Road Transfer Station (“MRTS”) Improvement Project (collectively “Project”). 1. The Project will improve the layout of the facility, drains and overall function to meet SWACO needs. 2. In addition to the building and site modifications, SWACO desires to install a new electric material handler, conveyor, and trash compactor. 3. The MRTS will undergo an Ohio EPA permit-to-install modification that will take an estimated six (6) to eight (8) months. 4. The design drawings for this Project are included as a separate document to download. Please reference the drawings for further Project information. 5. Recommend SWACO’s approach to the construction contract, such as a construction manager at risk, bid with a prime contractor, etc. 6. Construction bid/proposal review and evaluation for costs and quality. 7. Provide costs for tasks associated with appropriate breakdown for all personnel, equipment, etc.
