Design and execute a media relations outreach plan and media hosting program that extends the Ohio. Find It Here. brand reach in concert with paid advertising efforts in Ohio and generates brand awareness among national media outlets. a. Work with TourismOhio and Ohio tourism industry partners to host at least 6 visits from regional and/or national media annually resulting in positive media placements for Ohio. b. Strategy must include partnership opportunities for Ohio tourism industry members to engage with and/or pitch media to extend the Ohio.Find It Here. brand. c. Develop national awareness of Ohio tourism experiences and the Ohio. Find It Here. brand with participation opportunities for Ohio tourism industry members. d. Create recommended target media lists for print, online/digital and broadcast that aligns with TourismOhio’s brand, quality, audience and strategic objectives. Distribute TourismOhio media releases and advisories in a timely and professional manner with approved, branded graphic template. e. Work with TourismOhio to develop an annual editorial calendar. f. Additional tactics as needed and agreed upon with the client to promote Ohio. 3. Develop robust and creative public relations plans to support seasonal consumer marketing initiatives. 4. Work with TourismOhio to develop and implement measurement of public relations program including media relations and other tactics as agreed upon. a. ROI measures will include only results that may be traced back to TourismOhio and contractor public relations efforts.
