Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Bidder shall provide the following inspection, parts and maintenance services for the City: 3.4.1.1 All required inspections and maintenance will be performed at the manufactures recommended times. All inspections and maintenance will be performed at the Columbus Police Heliport or at the Bidder/Contractor’s facility when deemed appropriate by the City of Columbus. All unscheduled maintenance will be performed as much as practical at the above-named facilities. Any ferry flights required to either of the two facilities will be performed by the Department of Public Safety, Division of Police personnel. The Bidder/Contractor shall provide emergency helicopter maintenance within the State of Ohio on a twentyfour-hour schedule, seven days a week. Said emergency service will be commenced as soon as reasonably possible but not later than four (4) hours after receipt of a verbal, telephonic, or written request from the City. The Bidder/Contractor shall diligently continue any single emergency maintenance work until the helicopter is ready for flight. If the required repairs are of such a nature that in the opinions of the Public Safety Director or his designee and the Bidder/Contractor, such repairs cannot be commenced or it is inadvisable to commence the same within the four (4) hour period, then the Bidder/Contractor shall commence repairs as soon as reasonably possible thereafter. The Bidder/Contractor shall provide a schedule and list, including phone numbers of maintenance personnel that are subject to be called out during those times when the maintenance center is closed.
