Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall be required to deliver propane and cylinders to each requesting City department. The contractor’s vehicle shall be capable of transporting 20, 23.6, 33.5, 44 and 100 lb. Cylinders. This requirement establishes the minimum scope of work for complete propane refueling infrastructure for propane pick-up trucks for the City of Cincinnati. 1. Bidders shall submit a proposal offering (include drawings, etc. to explain your proposal) their best solution to providing two complete propane refueling infrastructures for ten propane pick-up trucks and any future propane vehicles procured by the City of Cincinnati. Fueling sites need to be convenient to GCWW and to the Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD). 2. Propane provided shall be HD5 Propane (105 octanes). 3. Bidders shall provide an emergency contact person and toll free emergency telephone number to call after normal business hours, nights, weekends and holidays. 4. The equipment needs to be able to communicate with our Fleet Anywhere System so that the City will be able to collect fuel costs per vehicle, miles per gallon per vehicle, number of gallons of fuel/ vehicle, and other comparison data. 5. Propane refueling stations shall be in compliance with nationally recognized standards and local building and fire codes, and shall follow all required industry safety. 6. All work under the resulting contract shall be performed in a safe manner in compliance with state and federal safety and health regulations as well as City of Cincinnati safety standards, guidelines, and rules.
