Fabrication Design and fabrication of a coach platform specialty vehicle between the length of 30-35 feet that does not require a CDL license. Entries, props, and accessible areas should be fabricated to be durable, self-explanatory, and feature interactive components that are not easily damaged. Interactive aspects shall be described by the instructor before the actual training begins. All corners and other protruding edges shall be guarded to prevent cutting or catching clothing during the rescue exercise. Total tongue weight shall not exceed 1350 lbs. Total gross weight of completed unit shall not exceed 12,000 lbs. Interior Design Interior creative design shall include ways to change scenarios for different types of rescues and the ability to change during a rescue. The interior effects can be controlled from the exterior by a cabled or remote setup. Offeror should keep accessibility in mind. The mobile confined space unit shall have multiple doors, in various sizes, and shall feature interactive components that are not easily damaged. Connectivity including wi-fi and cell coverage varies across the state which should be considered in any electronic or digital design. Renderings of Concept Offeror to provide a rendering of confined space design concepts to be reviewed by ODNR staff before fabrication so any feasible changes can be made. Offeror to provide examples of all interior props, electrical applications, monitoring systems, and video viewing systems. Graphic Design/Illustration/Photos Design and application of an exterior wrap with eye-catching graphics in accordance to ODNR and state of Ohio brand guidelines. The wrap should market ODNR’s work, with rescuers and the public in mind. All elements of graphic design, illustration, photos are to be reviewed by ODNR. Design and application of an exterior wrap is the ultimate responsibility of the offeror and should be given consideration when developing a project budget. Signage All entrances, elevations, and ladders shall be posted with the appropriate warning signs depicting the hazard. Installation Offeror is responsible for installation of the exterior wrap, signage, interior, and exterior applications.
