Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bowling Green State University (“the Owner”) requests interested firms to submit qualifications for full comprehensive Design-Build (DB) services for a renovation to add additional residence rooms within the lower level of Kohl Hall. Kohl Hall is a 68,000 sq.ft., four story residence hall, built in 1938 with a substantial addition in 1962, it sits on south edge of campus at the intersection of West Wooster Street and South College Drive. The project consists of expanding the residence rooms to the original building’s lower level, adding approximately 40 beds, pod style restrooms, and community space. The project will also be responsible for demolition of existing office space and the relocation of select buildingwide services, such as a residence use kitchenette, to the lower level addition. Additional related scope within Kohl Hall may be added to this contract as required by BGSU.
