Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and contract administraon to paint fire hydrants within the City. Greater Cincinna Water Works is looking to have 2000 fire hydrants in the City of Cincinna Limits re-painted. The new hydrant colors will represent the different levels of water flow and idenfy the rated pressure in each hydrant. The purpose is so when firefighters arrive at the scene of a fire, they know by the color of the hydrant whether they are connecting to one with ample water flow. This project also serves to make the hydrant bright so firefighters can easily idenfy the hydrants in the dark. Lastly, this project will help beautify the city by updang hydrants with vibrant colors, while the paint will also protect the metal from rust and decay
