The Cincinnati Fire Department (CFD) intends to purchase a “Flashover Simulator” for delivery and installation at the Cincinnati Fire Training Center located at 1898 Millcreek Rd. A “Flashover Simulator” is a series of containers installed and configured as a burn structure which allows for live fire training using ordinary combustible (Class A) materials in a controlled instructional environment. These series of containers will be permanently installed on site for use in instructing students in fire behavior/ dynamics. The CFD is seeking a vendor to deliver and install a fully engineered “Flashover Simulator” container system.
