Specifications include, but are not limited to: Columbus City Schools is seeking proposals from qualified companies to conduct an Employee Benefits Dependent Eligibility Audit for approximately 8000 benefits eligible employees. The goal is to select the most qualified partner in the area of dependent verification audits. The vendor requirements are as follows: 1. Full scope of experience with dependent verification audits. 2. Minimum of 10 years’ experience with employer groups, similar in size to Columbus City Schools, which have self-insured health and employee benefits plans. 3. Must demonstrate experience working with employer groups that have over 5000 employees to include public sector. Service Requirements and Service Capabilities The successful candidate will provide the following: 1. Develop, design and conduct a dependent eligibility verification audit of all covered dependents of active, COBRA and employees on leave of absence (comprehensive, one-time audit) to be completed within 6 months of contract execution. 2. Produce and mail all employee communication and any relevant forms. 3. Notify employees of dependents whose eligibility is in question. 4. Provide toll-free phone support for employees with questions. 5. Provide administration on the initial and second level employee appeals. 6. Produce monthly and prepare a final report of findings, resolutions and recommendations. 7. In addition to the one-time audit, the awarded vendor will conduct ongoing dependent verification process for all covered dependents.
