Specifications include, but are not limited to: upgrade of the existing HVAC system at the District four headquarter facility. Consultant will conduct assessment of existing building design and load conditions and use this information to develop the Program of Requirements. Based on assessment, present good, better, best upgrade options to ODOT that stay within project construction budget. Design should include all new equipment, duct work (where required), controls, and BAS system. This facility is currently conditioned by 50+ units, a combination of residential style split systems (both gas fired and electric), air conditioners and heat pumps, ductless split systems, and RTU’s dating back to the early 1990’s/ late 1980’s. The existing Liebert system in the IT room will remain and not be replaced with this project, only linked to the BAS. This project will be phased for district occupancy during construction. Design considerations should include centralized cooling and heating plants, zoning, redundant systems. New design should maximize energy efficiency and comfort.
