The Franklin County CBCF will transition all communal showers into at least three (3) individual shower stalls, transition the half-sized toilet stalls to at least three (3) standard sized toilet stalls, remove the urinals. The scope of work for this project shall include at least the following elements: • Demolish: existing partitions, ceiling, flooring, plumbing fixtures, plumbing accessories, lighting, doors, and door frames. • Remove masonry walls and replace with drywall (optional). • Install new toilets, toilet partitions, vanities, sinks, and faucets (all of which are suitable for a correctional setting, but also providing for a therapeutic and dignified living environment). • Install a new gypsum board ceiling with new light fixtures. • Install all new toilet paper, hand towel, soap dispensers, and mirrors over new vanities. • Install new receptacles where needed. • Install all new doors/frames, flooring, and finishes. • Redesign/replace the bathroom exhaust systems and HVAC modifications.
