Specifications include, but are not limited to: Ohio University is seeking one or more farmers who can accommodate multiple weekly Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) or Buying Club drop-off programs on Ohio University’s Athens campus. The successful applicant must be able to speak to their ability to accommodate the following: Provide University employees with the opportunity to purchase multiple sizes (i.e. half share/full share/bushel) of a CSA or Buying Club share. Origin of food must be located within 30 miles of Baker University Center, Athens OH. The CSA/Buying Club is to last a minimum of 17 weeks and a maximum of 22 weeks. The CSA is to be a seasonal summer program, beginning no earlier than May 15, 2020 and ending no later than October 23, 2020. Programs Requested: Public: This program must be made available to the public. It will not be limited to University employees, though all marketing will target said demographic. Participants of the public program must be provided with a regular pick-up day, preferably Thursday or Friday from 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
