1. Organizational Strategic Communication and Guidance • Based on expertise in communication, marketing, and public relations, establish a clear organizational communication plan and strategic vision for the Authority that aligns with targeted audience for existing and new programs that deploy financial assistance for clean air projects. Provide proactive support and guidance throughout the duration of the contract to anticipate and mitigate issues affecting successful awareness, perception, understanding, knowledge and execution of the Authority activities and programs. • Actively participate in and facilitate strategic planning with the board and leadership team of the Authority to best promote programs, events, and other initiatives along with the data-driven results and impact. • Define and maintain messaging for targeted audiences that encourage a positive view of the Authority mission and programs. o These audiences include but are not limited to local governments, small businesses, economic development professionals, developers and owners of industrial, commercial and multi-family buildings, and members of the general assembly and other state partners. o Work cooperatively with other professional service providers engaged by the Authority and provide input to ensure consistency in messaging and strategies for intended audiences and programs.
