- Busch Ball Diamond Park: is an existing (Baseball, Softball, Kickball) - oriented sports park in northwest Columbus, Ohio. The owner, Columbus Recreation and Parks (CRPD), plans to install infield Synthetic Turf on four (4) Ball Diamond Infields as part of a renovation of the existing park. - Sammons Ball Diamond Park: is an existing (Baseball, Softball, Kickball) – oriented sports park in far south Columbus, Ohio. The owner, Columbus Recreation and Parks (CRPD), plans to install infield Synthetic Turf on one (1) Ball Diamond Infield as part of a renovation of the existing park. CRPD requests qualifications from synthetic turf install vendors to furnish materials for installation. While the vendor should take into consideration the primary usage of the field is baseball / softball, the field may be used for Kickball as well. As vendors craft their RFSQ responses, the multipurpose nature of the field, high usage, and, most importantly, CRPD’s desire for a safe and durable turf system should be noted. It is intended that the selected vendor will have their turf material specified for these project without substitutions and that the labor to install the material will be bid as part of the construction contract.
