Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 12.1.1 Perfom traffic counts and prepare a traffic study that determines lane configurations and turn lane lengths for all intersections between SR161 and Central College Road. Lane configurations through the interchange will be per the Hamilton Road at SR 161 Area Rezoning Traffic Operations Analysis Final Study (Reference 1.3.1) 100% Build. The traffic analysis shall account for the future traffic anticipated upon the extension of N. Hamilton Road north to Walnut/Harlem as contemplated in the Northeast Franklin County Traffic Study(reference 1.3.2).2.1.2 Coordinate with ODOT to establish permitting and review requirements.2.1.3 Perform geotechnical investigations as needed to obtain sufficient information for a pavement design per the City’s Non-Residential Street Pavement Design Policy (Reference 1.3.3) and to determine the appropriate pavement buildup for the interchange ramps.2.1.4 Perform environmental services to determine if waterways within the project limits are jurisdictional.2.1.5 Determine if/where a median section is recommended and recommend access management for individual properties and future developments. 2.2Task 22.2.1 Complete topographic and boundary survey in accordance with the Department of Public Service General Design Requirements (Reference 1.3.4).2.2.2 Perform an ecological survey of the project corridor 2.2.3 Complete a pavement design per 1.3.3.2.2.4 Create a preliminary stormwater facilities layout including quantity/quality control facilities. This includes preliminary calculations for sizing and spread.2.2.5 Prepare a Preliminary Alignment Plan per 1.3.4 including cross sections in critical areas as determined by the consultant 2.3Task 3 2.3.1 Design and prepare a complete set of drawings and contract documents necessary to award a contract and construct said project in accordance with all applicable guidelines, specifications, and standards.2.3.2 Complete all required environmental permits, mitigation plans, etc. as needed to obtain ODOT, Army Corps of Engineers, EPA, and the City of Columbus Division of Sewerage and Drainage approvals.
