Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this invitation to bid is for the Provide for the Installation of a new Lidar System along with Load Analysis, Structural Engineering data and Statement of Compliance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and provide FAA Form 8110-3 to support a field approval for the installation of the new Airborne Lidar Mapping System, Gyro Stabilization Mount, and associated equipment. Equipment to be mounted in the aircraft cabin to either the camera hole floor nut plates provided by STC SA09625AC and/or the seat tracks and/or side wall. Provide provisions for new pilot displays to be mounted to current Pilot Displays mounting provisions for our Cessna Caravan N850H s/n 20861061. The aircraft has two holes for this type of equipment and the design should account for the use of the equipment with the following scenarios: • The first scenario will have some existing equipment in the forward hole, with the new equipment in the aft hole. • The second scenario would be with the new equipment in the aft hole and the existing equipment completely removed. • The third scenario would be placing the new equipment in the forward hole and the existing equipment removed. For the scenarios, a single mounting plate would be ideal to allow for versatility. If an individual plate is required for each hole, then the plate designed for the aft hole shall be built and installed for this contract. We would like the forward hole plate designed and calculated for weight and FAA approval if applicable. The aircraft will be in use during this contract period with the current equipment installed. The equipment can be removed for a day or two for initial measurements with prior notice. Installation and mounting of all equipment shall be completed at ODOT’s Aviation Facility.
