Specifications include, but are not limited to:The purpose of this training and certification program in Human Capital Leadership is to make a strong connection for the Center’s 50 staff to better create resources and provide technical assistance to ensure effective and efficient HCMS in districts and community schools throughout the state. Ohio’s 2015 plan to Ensure Equitable Access to Excellent Educators is developed around strategies that support developing a strong HCMS. Additionally, Title II Part A of the Every Student Succeeds Act supports the elements of a strong HCMS. These regulations provide the impetus for needing additional training in the field of Human Capital Management. 1. Design, develop, and provide training for the staff of the Center for the Teaching Profession around the Professional Standards for Human Capital Leaders. 2. Identify a nationally recognized HCMS credential and prepare staff to earn the certification. 3. Co-develop and design Ohio specific HCMS content and strategies for dissemination at the district level.
