This announcement constitutes the brand name or equal only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-01. This solicitation is full and open with no small business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339113. The FSC/PSC is 6515. The Cleveland VA Medical Center is seeking to purchase the Cytology Microscopes and attachments compatible to the current supply of microscopes that are Olympus/Evident microscopes. This solicitation closes on July 24, 2025 at 4:00 PM. All interested companies shall provide quotations for the following request. STATEMENT OF WORK 1.0 GENERAL SCOPE The cytology laboratory located at Cleveland VA Medical Center needs 3 microscopes and attachments that are compatible to those and other microscopes on hand. A significant part of the work performed in the cytology laboratory requires the use of a light microscope. The standard microscope allows cytotechnologists alongside pathologists to explore the fields and find images that are diagnostic and, therefore, reportable. 2.0 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS The vendor will deliver the microscopes to the Cleveland VA warehouse. From there, the warehouse and engineering will coordinate the delivery and installation of the microscopes with Pathology.
