Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1: Remove the building and foundation to a minimum of two (2) feet below final grade. All demolition debris must be lawfully hauled to an approved disposal site. Disposal reciepts and/or proof of lawfull disposal must be provided to the City upon request. 2: Remove the yard walks and steps. 3: Back fill the basement/crawl space with CLEAN earth or rubble fill not to exceed 30% rubble. No pieces of stone or concrete fill shall exceed 10"x10"x10". Spread a minimum of six (6") inches of CLEAN earth over the rubble fill. Finished surface shall not contain any gravel or rocks. 4: Grade the lot to conform to existing contours, unless otherwise specified. 5: Remove steps from the public sidewalk, repair walk in accordance with specifications of the City Engineer. (Seperate permit is required by the Engineering Division.) 6: Protect all property line fencing during wrecking operations. Property line fence to remain unless otherwise specified. 7: Take down and remove the garage/accessory building. 8: Take necessary steps to protect the adjoining building. 9: Take necessary steps to protect the adjoining property. 10: Grade variations in excess of 48" must be reduced accordingly or protected by a 4' high chain link fence. 11: Remove driveway and drive apron. Repair curb and sidewalk in accordance with Department of Transportation and Engineering requirements. (Separate permit, inspection and approval from DOTE is required.) 12: Remove all trash, rubbish (interior & exterior), weeds, and brush from the entire site. (Protect all large mature trees and remove dead trees) 13: Spread seed and straw in accordannce with the standard specifications over 6" of clean earth that is free of rocks and rubbish. 14: Contractor may be required to provide a Waste Shipment Record for any asbestos the contractor has had removed under the contract. Affidavit of Original or Sub-Contractor (Labor and Material) Purchasing Form 66, shall include demolition debris disposal and name of approved demolition debris disposal site. Disposal receipts and/or proof of lawful disposal must be provided to the City upon request. 15: Notify Kevin Rhodes by phone or e-mail at least 24 HOURS prior to the start of demolition.and arrange a pre-demolition inspection at the site to verify utilites are removed, protection for the right-of-way and adjoining property is in place, there is a water source to dampen debris, and review similar compliance and safety provisions: kevin.rhodes@cincinnati-oh.gov or 513-515-7915.
