Pump and Motor: 13hp, 4-stroke, air cooled, electric start /recoil backup, Honda (no exceptions) motor (ex: Wick XP4-13H or equivalent). For firefighter safety, pump head must be interchangeable with 4-stage/impeller pressure pumps: Wick 375, Waterax BB4 & Mark III pump and quickly removable without tools (no exceptions). Pump shall have 2 inch intake and 1.5 inch discharge. Pump must produce at a minimum; 360 psi and 95 gpm. Pump and motor to be top mounted on tank. Additional features required of pump and motor: • Manual and electric start (12 V) • Low oil shut down • Oil drain line with hose mounted in crankcase • Minimum of 1-gallon integral fuel tank. • USFS approved spark arrestor • Main pump head must be isolated from tank with a section of non-rigid plumbing or other vibration isolating plumbing. • Belt driven maintenance free drive assembly/speed increaser; mounted horizontally • Greaseless pump bearing • Drain petcock mounted in pump housing • Pump mounted preset pressure relief valve • Centrifugal clutch Tank: 200 gallon polypropylene tank with tank fill covers for access to tank internals. Tank shall be furnished with 4 inch aluminum skid tubes mounted to bottom of tank to aid in removal. Tank walls constructed of minimum ½ inch ultraviolet light resistant black polypropylene. Tank floor constructed of ¾” polypropylene with recessed sump. Tank dimensions must be 48” W x 48” L. Additional features required of the tank: • Polymer or Stainless steel flanges. Minimum 1” FNPT for tank fill/recirculate; 2” FNPT Suction port with footvalve in minimum 6”x6” bolt down access plate; 2” FNPT tank drain (rear tank wall). • Full height translucent sight gauge on rear tank wall. • ¾” poly mounting block on tank top. • Poly reel tracks • Baffled to meet National Fire Protection Association specification 1906 • Water fill tower with latching top • Vehicle mounting flanges • No foam cell • Integral poly lift handles Plumbing: Unit is to meet the following plumbing requirements: • Tank to Pump: 2 inch • Draft suction: 2 inch (MNPSH threads) with cap and chain • Overboard Discharge: 1.5 inch outlet (MNH threads) with cap and chain • Overboard Discharge: 1 inch outlet (MNPSH thread) • Hose reel: 1 inch line to hose reel to supply 1” NPSH lightweight booster line as specified below • Pump to tank fill: 1 inch minimum diameter to tank from pump (by-pass/circulate) • Pump primer: Hand pump type primer shall be mounted on tank Each plumbing item above shall have an inline shut off valve. The tank to pump and draft suction must have a valve to allow operation in either direction or be plumbed to allow for such. All valves are to be direct-actuated, 1/4 turn, full port design. All hard plumbing is to be 100% stainless steel, no exceptions. All valves must be labeled. Overboard discharge to be through stainless steel (no exceptions) manifold equipped with drain petcock. Pressure gauge may be mounted to manifold.
