Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City’s Planning, Neighborhoods and Development Department is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to create a plan for the Westwood neighborhood. The plan will become the strategy for the stabilization and improvement of the Westwood neighborhood, focusing on priorities for new or rehabilitated single-family or multi-family housing, strategic development and open space areas, placemaking, and increasing outside investment. The services at a minimum will include a citizen engagement component including at least one neighborhood open-house meeting, at least five focused conversations with groups of stakeholders/residents, and monthly meetings with a steering committee. The project will also include data collection and mapping, concluding with a written plan discussing the summary of findings and recommendations for the Westwood neighborhood. The services will be a one-time contract, beginning Summer of 2022 and concluding the Winter of 2022-23.
