Some of the Board functions are developing local plan, carrying out workforce research and regional labor market analysis, convening, brokering, and leveraging (leverage support for workforce development activities), leading efforts to engage with a diverse range of employers, developing career pathways, identifying proven and promising practices, developing strategies for using technology, providing program oversight, negotiating local performance accountability measures, selecting of one-stop operators and youth, career services, and eligible training providers, coordinating with education providers, developing a budget and administration, assessing the accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
