a. Spray the appropriate formulation of herbicide on all fence lines, curbs, poles, sign posts, waterline curb boxes, buildings with lava rock areas, static display areas, parking lots (gravel and asphalt), ramps, roads, sidewalks, etc., to include areas not mentioned but designated by owner representative as identified on maps, or site visit. b. All plants and vegetation sprayed will include all grasses, weeds, broad leaf plants (some woody plants included) to include all annuals, bi-annuals, winter annuals, summer annuals, perennials, etc. A combination of broadcast and spot treatment spraying shall be the focus of the application. c. An industrial strength, non-selective, low-volume, post-emergent, persistent/residual herbicide formulation shall be used to insure long term unwanted weed/vegetation control. The only herbicides permitted for use are listed in the provided attachment. The use of Finale XL is not permitted on the Installation. d. Contractor shall, apply a uniform 12-16 inch radius around all poles, posts, stakes, curbs, curb boxes etc. e. Contractor estimation shall be for three complete applications, that will be scheduled per contractor recommendation, but typically Spring, Summer and Fall seasonal applications to ensure desired appearance and control. f. Ensure appropriate measures have been taken to avoid drift, runoff, leaching, and volatilization of sprayed herbicide, taking in to consideration weather conditions. e. Ensure non-designated gardens, flowers, bushes/shrubbery, trees are not damaged. If damaged will be replaced at contractor’s expense. f. Contractor, and/or applicators must possess all required industrial vegetation applicator’s license, and provide copies prior to starting services. g. Remove, and/or dispose of all excess and/or unwanted job debris/chemicals from the worksite. h. At the completion of each application the Contractor shall provide a list and amount of herbicide used.
