Specifications include, but are not limited to: Denver Public Schools and the Enterprise Management Department of Food and Nutrition Services is seeking proposals to establish a contract for the purchase and delivery to the Enterprise Management Warehouse of nationally known name-brand VENDING PRODUCTS. The products are to include limited canned and bottled beverages, coffee, tea, cold and frozen food items, baked chips, low-fat, nutritious snacks, pastries, cookies and candy, as well as several paper products. All meeting established nutritional guidelines for healthier choices. All products are to be available from the vendor's catalog, updated monthly. To address childhood obesity, promote good nutrition and healthy choices the department wishes to partner with a vendor willing to aggressively locate and introduce a wide variety of vending items meeting the following nutritional guidelines no more than 40% calories from fat, no more than 10% saturated fat and no more than 35% sugar by weight.
