Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor will provide a program for cost administration of unemployment compensation and work to reduce our claims liability. The approximate number of unemployment claims filed is as follows: 103 Claims processed for the year 2014 104 Claims processed for the year 2015 102 Claims processed through August of 2016 The following services will be required of the contractor: Education Services Customized procedural manuals. Seminars, if necessary. Service bulletins. Legislative updates. Claims Management Provide timely responses on requests for separation information and requests for additional information. Complete all necessary paperwork as requested by the State unemployment office. Provide timely requests for reconsideration when applicable. Describe a process that will inform and provide necessary information to our Legal Department in a timely manner with respect to pending unemployment claims hearings. Benefit Charge Control Audit of individual charges against prior claims data. Protest of all erroneous charges. Follow-up to ensure receipt of benefit charges. Experienced Rating Analysis Management Reports Claims activity by work location or department. Claims reports provided at least monthly and yearly. Identify monthly expenditures, number of claimants and number of claims paid Rate projections. Verifiable data showing return on investment.
