Equipped with at least: • Directional Signals with self-canceling switch. • Exposed wiring run through loom or vinyl taped in accordance with best commercial practice. • Gauges for oil pressure, engine temperature, battery charging system and fuel gauge. • Trucks equipped with Allison automatic transmission shall have transmission temperature gauge. 2.8 TRANSMISSION Automatic type equipped with fuel cooler. 2.9 AXLES • Double acting shock absorbers on front axle and on Class 14 and smaller rear axle. • Single speed type rear axle. • Rear axle ration as required to meet performance requirements, however, not to exceed 7.9 to 1. • Each axle having a rated capacity on ground of 9,000 lbs., or more must be equipped with oil lubricated hubs.
