A) Portable Radios must meet the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO minimum recommendations and Electronic Industries Alliance/Telecommunication Industries Association (EIA/TIA) standards for P25 Public Safety 700/800 MHz trunked radio systems. Operable on conventional P25 and analog infrastructure. Capable of simplex operation in conventional P25 and analog modes. Must be operable on 700/800 MHz conventional and analog trunked frequencies. B) All radios must be P25 Phase 2-capable, but this standard does not have to be active C) All radios must be P25 Authenticated to the MARCS radio system managed by the State of Ohio Department of Administrative Services. D) Short antenna, not to exceed four (4) inches.
