Specifications include, but are not limited to: Within the blue delineated area, all woody vegetation greater than or equal to 2” DBH is to be fully cut and felled at a height not to exceed 12” from the ground. Blue boundaries are approximate and will be clarified on-site and flagged. Some trees along the dam (eastern edge of map) and outlet structure (southeast corner near parking lot) will be removed by the dam contractor and marked accordingly on-site, thus not part of this contract. All felled woody vegetation is to be removed from the Shreve Lake Wildlife Area (but see breakdown of bid quotes below for exception of allowing an alternate of felling but not removal). The areas within the red exclusion zones are set aside to allow all woody vegetation to remain standing. In total, an area of 23.7 acres is to be felled and removed.
