The City of Cincinnati is requesting bids to provide demolition of the elevated walkway from the Town Center Garage to the attached office building (CET). The project consists of the removal of the elevated walkway that connects the Town Center Garage and the CET building. The demolition will include all of the existing canopy over the third level of the walkway, the walkway from the third level of the garage to the CET building, the stairs leading from the third level of the garage down to first level, the walkway from the third level of the garage down to the second level stair landing at the northwest corner of the CET building, and the remaining walkway columns located in Central Parkway. New railings will be installed at the edge of the third level of the CET landing on the west side of the building and at the edge of the stairs at the second level near the northwest corner of the CET building. New columns will be installed to support the walkway at the second level of the elevator platform as well as the second level stair landing at the northwest corner of the CET building. The elevator/electrical room will be demolished and relocated. The existing curb area on the first level will be converted to on-grade parking. Some concrete repair is anticipated at the third and second level landings of the CET building.
